The German-French Young Leaders (GFYL) Programme is an interdisciplinary platform for the new dynamic German and French leaders of tomorrow. Founded in 2015, the programme targets young professionals with outstanding profiles who have been little or not at all affected by German-French relations. In May 2017, 80 highly committed French, German and European young leaders came together in Berlin for the second edition of the German-French Young Leaders Conference. The conference focused on the German-French friendship and European cooperation, also summarised by our patron Valéry Giscard d'Estaing during his opening speech of the GFYL 2017 Conference: "Europe gave us peace, now it's time for becoming a real economic power.
